Yoghurt jar to-go

Hi guys, it has been two weeks since my last post. Sorry for that! I have been crazy busy and could not find the right time to take some proper pictures  (and that is the most important part :-)). We probably all know that feeling: busy weeks and you feel like you are always in a hurry. Little time in the morning to enjoy your breakfast so you just buy something on your way or just skip breakfast. Yep that is what I have experienced these last couple of weeks. Trying to find the right balance between my work and private life. On days like these I try to divide my time efficiently. So that means preparing as much as I can and starting my daily routine with a yoghurt jar.

For me yoghurt is a true lifesaver. It is just so easy to take with you, just add some toppings and you are ready to go. It takes like 10 minutes to prepare this jar, so there really is no excuse to skip breakfast and it is perfect to take with you. This yoghurt jar is inspired by a place in my hometown (The Hague, The Netherlands) called Yoghurt Barn. It is one of my favorite spots to have some coffee and yoghurt.  When you are in the neighborhood you should really check it out!

Making your own yoghurt jar is definitely not rocket science. You can experiment with all the ingredients that you like and still have this breakfast everyday. Do not worry this breakfast will never bore you. My jar consists of some low-fat yoghurt, forest fruit jam, blueberries, raspberries and some oats. Remember the oatmeal cookie or breakfast sticks? Also really good to add to the side.

What is your favorite yoghurt jar?

XO Lindsay
